Our one day Defensive Rifle Clinic is designed for anyone from the first time shooter to the weekend shooter or seasoned operator that wants some core fundamental skills building with the use of a Carbine or Rifle. Our professional staff will help you to become comfortable with the core fundamental skills, modern rifle fighting techniques, proper target acquisition, proper body position and shot placement to effectively win an armed encounter. You will take home effective drills and techniques that you can use in your own training regime. If you are a new rifle owner or recreational shooter looking to get into the tactical training world this is a great course to start with without a large monetary commitment. You will leave this course with an understanding of how and why to set a zero on your rifle. You will leave the course with a proper zero on your rifle. It is also a good way for an experienced operator to build and hone their skills. We look forward to seeing you in this fun and informative course. You may use any AR variant, AK variant, subgun or M1A in this course. (MINIMUM ROUND COUNT – 300 rounds)
Equipment List
1. A properly functioning carbine or rifle
2. At least 3 magazines (5 are recommended)
3. 300-400 rounds of rifle ammunition
4. Magazine Pouches for the magazines
5. A quality Sling
6. Body armor if you would wear it while deploying a carbine
7. Handgun and 3 magazines (recommended but not mandatory)
8. 50 rounds of handgun ammunition (recommended but not mandatory)
9. Holster and magazine pouches (recommended but not mandatory)
10. Sharpie type pen for marking targets
11. Pen and notepad for taking notes
12. Hat or other head covering
13. Gloves (recommended but not mandatory)
14. Knee and elbow pads
15. Eye and ear protection
16. Footwear that you can stand in all day (boots are highly recommended)
17. Sunscreen or raingear (as applicable) (The course will go rain or shine)
18. Enough water supply to sustain you for the day
19. A lunch or snack food (We will not have time to leave the range for lunch)
